1888 Pub: Just up the road from your apartments is the 1888 Pub, a casual restaurant serving pub fare as well as fresh seafood and local drinks. PLUS, enjoy a free drink and appetizer on us!
Cardigan Farmer’s Market: A quaint local farmer’s market with trinkets, coffee, local produce and snacks located in the old train station, next to the Confederation Trail.
Cardigan Lobster Suppers: This restaurant is known for its amazing five course lobster suppers-one of the longest running in Island history. It also features a full menu and has a large deck overlooking the Cardigan marina.
Clamdigger’s Restaurant: A breezy casual seafood eatery also offering steak, sandwiches and outdoor seating with harbour views, just across the water from your apartment.
Canada’s Smallest Library: Check out the smallest lending library in Canada, operating daily.
Confederation Trail: The Confederation Trail is an island-wide walking and bicycle path that makes for an excellent daytime activity.

Brudenell Riding Stables: Head down to Brudenell Riding Stables to experience a relaxing beach and forest guided trail ride, wagon rides, or a special running ride for experienced horseback riders. Check 1888 Pub’s facebook page for a ride and dine combo!
Brudenell and Dundarave Golf Courses: Two of the Island’s best golf courses are also situated at Brudenell, only a three minute drive from your apartments. Brudenell also features walking trails, kayaks, and other fun activities.
Local Distilleries: There are many local distilleries in Eastern PEI, where you can have a taste of real local beers, wines, and liquors.
Greenwich National Park: Greenwich features amazing views and a splendid walking trail, all the makings of a great day for a family walk or bicycle ride.
Basin Head Beach: This beach was named Canada’s Best for good reason! Grab the kids for a beach day and enjoy the “singing sands”, ice cream and beautiful red sand cliffs.
Sea Adventures: If you’re looking to spend some time ON the water, there are many local guides that will take you out to explore the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

Anne of Green Gables: A visit to PEI is never complete without checking out Anne’s old stomping grounds! Head down to Cavendish to tour Lucy Maud Montomery’s home, eat Anne’s Chocolates and try cordial for yourself.
Lighthouses, lighthouses, lighthouses: PEI is home to over 60 lighthouses, so take your time and visit some of these historic sights!
Brackley Drive-In: A personal favourite of ours is the Brackley Drive-In. Park your car, grab some popcorn and enjoy an outdoor movie on one of their big screens.
Cavendish: Cavendish is a very exciting part of PEI, home to amusement and water parks, mini and regular golf, museums and many other attractions. It’s worth the drive!
Ceilidhs: Have you ever been to a ceilidh? Have you ever *heard* of a ceilidh? If not, it’s simply a social event with folk music. If you want to live like an Islander, check one out while you’re here!
